Based in San Francisco, CA, since September 2023, I am an architectural designer currently focused on residential architecture. Born in St. Louis, MO, taught to ride a bike in Chicago, IL and raised in Phoenix, AZ and have a deep appreciation for landscape and environment. So, in 2017 I move to Eugene, OR, to study architecture at the University of Oregon. I graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture and minors in Interior Architecture and Business Administration and I began my career in Portland, OR, before landing in SF. From city to city I've observed differences in architecture, food, fashion, lifestyle, and people in each place—and how these differences shape our community and environment.
I love connecting with people. One of my favorite ways to do so, outside of architecture, is through cooking. Few things bring me more joy than standing around the stove with a glass of wine, music, and good company. Connecting with others and myself through art is another cornerstone of my life. Art, in many mediums, has always been a tool for me to process life. My love for it ebbs and flows alongside my experiences, but I have consistently enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Creating unique, beautiful, and functional items for myself, family, and friends is immensely satisfying. In both my personal and professional life, I aim to surround myself with curious people who inspire me to grow.
My experience with residential architecture began when I was 16 at my first job. A personal assistant to a real estate agent with a background in architecture, specializing in residential renovations. My role grew into project coordinator with occasional design work, and the rest is history. I’ve known from a young age that I wanted to pursue architecture, and my instincts haven’t failed me yet. As my career barrels forward, I’m excited to complete my AREs to attain my architect’s license and continue creating more pedestrian-focused spaces that bring people together.
